Our amazing dinosaur friends arrived on Thursday 21st July for this summer’s Jurassic Takeover at Beaumont.

The dino fun continues each Thursday until Thursday 18th August between 11am and 4pm.

Walk with the dinosaurs, discover fossil-tastic facts and enjoy face painting, digging for fossils and craft activities.

Make sure you don’t miss our final event on Saturday 20th August.

Back by popular demand, it’s the last chance for your little ones to have a dino-encounter with Tony the T-Rex as he prowls around.

Dino activities in August

Thursday 4th August – The Dino Dig

Little paleontologists will be heading to the dino dig excavation site today. Mini dino-dig sandpits will be equipped with spades and brushes galore as dino specialists are invited to search for the hidden fossils and bones from 11am until 4pm.

Thursday 11th August – Dino Storytime

We’ll embark on a storytelling adventure as our head paleontologist shares stories of his time with the dinosaurs. You can then head off to explore our Dino Hunt Trail… What will you find? Our storyteller and dino face painter will on site from 11am to 4pm.

Thursday 18th August – How to Train Your Dino

Don’t worry – they don’t bite…! However, we may have a few naughty dinosaurs that need to be taught how to be good boys and girls. With the help of our new little rangers, we’ll teach our pesky dinosaurs to sit, wait and roll over. Who knew dinosaurs loved a belly tickle? Little ones can then turn in to dinos by creating dino masks with our helpers from 11am until 4pm.

Saturday 20th August – Tony the T-Rex

Our HUGE dino’s calm but mighty presence is enough to get you stopping and snapping. We’ve also got a Roaming T-Rex face painter from 11am to 4pm.

It’s going to be T-Rexcellent fun at Beaumont this summer!
