Beaumont Shopping Centre Takes On the Wolf Run for ADAPT Prembabies

This September, Beaumont Shopping Centre is lacing up its trainers and taking on the mud, obstacles and challenges of the 5K Wolf Run — all in support of our nominated charity for the year, ADAPT Prembabies. We’re inviting our shoppers, local businesses and the wider community to get behind us and help raise vital funds for families who need it most.

Our Nominated Charity: ADAPT Prembabies

ADAPT Prembabies is a small, dedicated charity supporting families with premature and poorly babies on the neonatal units at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital. The charity provides a Family Support Worker based directly on the neonatal units, helping parents navigate the emotional rollercoaster of having a baby in intensive care, where the wellbeing of their child can change from one hour to the next.

Their support doesn’t stop once families leave hospital. ADAPT also runs In-B-Tweenie groups, giving parents of premature or poorly babies — including those who go home with additional needs, oxygen support or feeding tubes — the chance to connect with others who understand exactly what they’ve been through.

As a self-funded charity, ADAPT Prembabies relies entirely on donations and community fundraising to continue this work, which is exactly why Beaumont Shopping Centre has chosen to make them our charity of the year.

The Event: Wolf Run 2026

On Sunday 13th September, members of the Beaumont Shopping Centre team will take part in the Wolf Run — a muddy, obstacle-packed 5K challenge — to raise money for ADAPT Prembabies. It’s a fun but tough test of teamwork and endurance, and every step will be in aid of Leicestershire families with a baby in neonatal care.
