On Saturday 11th November we kicked off the festive season with our Day of Diwali Delights at Beaumont Shopping Centre in Leicester!
For an afternoon, we enjoyed entertainment such as dancers, face painting, henna and more – there was fun for the whole family.
We enjoyed singers such as Bhagwati and Megan Yates, or marvelled at dancers like our Dhol Drummers and Socahro. The talented Henna artist and face painters were available to create beautiful designs for free throughout the celebrations. The little ones enjoyed an afternoon of crafts, learning how to make lanterns and colouring Rangoli designs.
At the end of the night, we enjoyed a beautiful light display to celebrate Diwali along with the amazing Bhangra dancers who will close off the celebration.
