Beaumont Shopping Centre Helps Bring Beaumont Lodge Primary School’s Garden Back to Life
Earlier this month, Beaumont Shopping Centre was approached by Beaumont Lodge Primary School, where a member of our team serves as a school Governor, with a simple but meaningful request: could we help bring their school garden back to life?
We didn’t have to think twice. We reached out to one of our owners, SUPR, to see if they would support the project, and the response could not have been more positive. SUPR generously donated £5,000 to help make the vision a reality.
Creating a Space for Nature, Creativity and Calm
Our task was to design and build an eco-garden where pupils could truly connect with the natural world. The project included:
- Planting vegetables, flowers and seedlings grown in a brand new greenhouse
- Creating a safe, immersive space for children to explore and be creative
- Establishing a calm area that supports pupils’ emotional wellbeing
The result is more than just a garden. It is a place where children can get their hands in the soil, watch things grow, and take a quiet moment away from the classroom when they need it most.
Proud of What We Achieved Together
This project would not have been possible without the hard work of the whole team, the generosity of SUPR, and the vision of Beaumont Lodge Primary School. We are incredibly proud to have played a part in giving these pupils a space where they can grow, learn and thrive, both in the garden and beyond it.
Beaumont Shopping Centre remains committed to supporting the local community, and this eco-garden is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when local businesses, schools and partners come together.
